Jordan Pickford’s contract situation: Here’s everything Everton fans need to know

Jordan Pickford has been an ever-present at Everton for many years.

The Toffees signed the keeper from Sunderland back in 2017, and in the nine years since, he has quickly become the undisputed number one for England.

That has seen tentative links away from Merseyside, although a Hill Dickinson Stadium departure has never materialised.

With the summer transfer window now just months away, Goodison News has rounded up everything you need to know about Pickford’s contract in L4.

What is Jordan Pickford’s current contract situation at Everton?

It is little surprise that various Premier League sides higher up the table have showcased interest in the Englishman previously.

Pickford has been a true asset to the Blues over the years and has cemented himself as one of the most consistent keepers in the country.

That prompted the Toffees to offer the keeper a brand new deal in October 2025, extending his deal by four years in the process.

The 31-year-old is now under contract in L4 until June 2029, meaning he could stay on Merseyside until he is 35 years old.

Pickford reportedly earns £150,000 per week at Everton on this new deal, bringing his yearly salary up to £7.8million.

That represents a third wage rise on Merseyside as he started on a reported £60,000 per week after his move from Sunderland.

When could Pickford leave Everton?

When you have a player who is one of the best in his position across the whole Premier League, they are going to attract interest.

There have been no true links in recent months, but they could take a step up depending on the transfer ideologies at other clubs in the summer.

Should an offer come in for Pickford, it would certainly give Everton something to think about, especially after nine years of service.

The final choice will likely be down to the keeper, although retiring at the Hill Dickinson could be on the back of his mind at this stage of his career.

It will certainly be an interesting summer for the Englishman if interest emerges before next season kicks off.
