Everton find ‘ideal solution’ as rare Ozan Kabak transfer could be on
Everton have added Hoffenheim defender Ozan Kabak to their list of targets ahead of the summer transfer window.
Kabak, who previously spent time on loan with Liverpool, is set to become a free agent when his deal at PreZero Arena expires at the end of the season.
As per a report by Fussballdaten, Everton are one of two Premier League sides keeping a close eye on Kabak, along with David Moyes’ former side West Ham.
The 26-cap Turkey international is described as being “the ultimate bargain” due to his performances this season and the fact he is a free agent.
The report adds that Everton chiefs consider him an “ideal solution” as they would not have to splash out any sort of transfer fee.

What type of player is Ozan Kabak?
Kabak is said to boast strong leadership abilities in defence, while he is also a defender who can find the net.
It is that more tangible factor that supporters often get excited about, with the 25-year-old boasting four goals in his 14 Bundesliga outings this campaign – each of those coming in his past nine outings.
The Ankara-born centre-back averages a Sofascore rating of 7.06, boosted by a superb recent display in Hoffenheim’s recent 3-0 win over Freiburg.

Kabak is a right-footed defender and also has experience of English football with Norwich City and, indeed, Liverpool.
Why Ozan Kabak transfer would be a rarity
Kabak made 13 appearances on loan at Liverpool in the 2020-21 campaign, nine of those coming in the Premier League.
While not a great deal is remembered about his time at Anfield, Kabak did make some history as the first Turkish player to appear for an English club in the Champions League.
Liverpool ultimately declined the chance to sign the defender permanently for a fee climbing to £26.5million, but he is now available for nothing – wages and any agent fees aside.
Should he arrive at Hill Dickinson Stadium, Kabak would join a rather small list of players to have represented both Everton and Liverpool.
Fewer than 10 players have done so down the years, so Kabak has a chance to join an elite list this summer.
