Everton sources point to ‘really difficult’ Iliman Ndiaye exit as Man United eye summer deal
Everton are confident that Iliman Ndiaye will remain at the club following the summer transfer window.
That is according to journalist Ben Jacobs, who was discussing the Toffees forward’s future on the United Stand.
The Senegalese winger has been routinely linked with a move to Old Trafford, as well as many other top sides such as Arsenal and Chelsea.
Losing the 25-year-old would be a major blow, and replacing his qualities at Hill Dickinson Stadium would not be an easy task.
However, Everton fans may have some good news around the corner, after what has just come out about Ndiaye.
What are Everton saying about an Iliman Ndiaye exit?
A transfer for Ndiaye in the summer may not end up happening, with Everton believing it would take a lot of work to pry him away.
Journalist Jacobs has shared this information on the United Strand when discussing the Senegalese wide man.
Jacobs states: “Everton’s perspective is the same as Jarrad Branthwaite. Man United bid multiple times for Jarrad Branthwaite and Dan Friedkin and his team said, ‘No, we’re not selling.’ And Everton don’t see themselves as a selling club.
“So I think Ndiaye may look for a move, but I actually am under the impression from Everton sources that he’s going to be really difficult to get out of that football club this summer.”
Of course, David Moyes will be delighted with that news, but there could be further joy in L3 over the coming months.
The Blues are also tipped to offer their number 10 an improved contract to tempt him away from pushing for a move.

His current deal lasts until 2029, so the Toffees are in no danger of risking letting him leave for cheap if an exit ultimately happens.
How Everton can make Ndiaye talks go smoother
Ndiaye has shown himself to be an important player for Everton, and keeping him could depend on how the Toffees finish the season.
If the Merseyside club fail to get into Europe, the 25-year-old may then push for that move, as Jacobs states.
The AFCON winner is about to hit the peak years of his career, and with teams such as Manchester United and Arsenal able to offer Champions League football, that could be more than enough to tempt him.

Everton’s push for Europe must continue against Newcastle this weekend, as if they fail to win, they risk falling too far behind the rest of the pack above.
Moyes certainly has his work cut out for him over the coming months of the season, as he will want to keep his key star around for much longer.
