Injury latest emerges as nine stars could miss out in Newcastle United vs Everton
Everton will make the trip to take on Newcastle United on Saturday.
The Magpies will play host to David Moyes and Co. at St James’ Park in the latest Premier League outing for both sides.
The away side will be keen to bounce back to winning ways after a Benjamin Sesko deal was enough to seal defeat last time around against Manchester United.
Eddie Howe’s side also tasted defeat in their last league outing as Manchester City ran out 2-1 victors at the Etihad.
As both sides look to bounce back to winning ways, Goodison News rounds up the injury scenario for both outfits ahead of a clash in the North East.

Everton could be without three at St James’ Park
There have been plenty of issues for the Blues to deal with this campaign, but right now, they have a generally positive injury landscape.
Jack Grealish may be missing for the rest of the campaign, but he is the only long-term problem in the Hill Dickinson Stadium treatment room.
The Man City loanee has recently been joined by Carlos Alcaraz, with an injury issue he picked up during training earlier in the week.
He could be out until late March, while Mark Travers could also miss out after picking up a finger injury before being absent against Man United.
Moyes has been dealt one piece of positive news as Jake O’Brien is set to return to the fold after serving a suspension after a red card against Bournemouth.
Newcastle could miss six stars vs Everton
The Toffees are in pretty good shape right now, but the same can’t be said about the Magpies, who are struggling.
Emil Krafth, Bruno Guimaraes, Fabian Schar, Tino Livramento and Lewis Miley are all likely to be out through injury with varying return dates.
The latter two are likely to return next week, but that will likely see them miss out against the Blues on Saturday.
| Player | Reason | Potential Return |
| Emil Krafth | Knee Injury | 01/06/2026 |
| Bruno Guimaraes | Thigh Injury | 11/04/2026 |
| Fabian Schar | Ankle/Foot Injury | 11/04/2026 |
| Valentino Livramento | Thigh Injury | 04/03/2026 |
| Lewis Miley | Thigh Injury | 04/03/2026 |
| Jacob Ramsey | Thigh Injury | 28/02/2026 |
Another concern could see Jacob Ramsey miss out with a thigh injury after going off in the Champions League playoff win against Qarabag.
Howe suggested that he could feature after feeling “a tightness”, but that will likely remain a secret until the teams are named at St James’.
