Dwight McNeil sale to fund £20m summer deal at Everton after transfer latest
Everton could’ve sold Dwight McNeil for £20million if his move to Crystal Palace had been finalised in the winter transfer window.
The Eagles had agreed a loan-to-buy deal with the Toffees, with the forward undergoing a medical on deadline day before it fell through.
While David Moyes was happy to part ways with the 26-year-old, the South London club failed to complete the necessary paperwork.
Since then, the English winger has returned to the Merseyside outfit’s squad, but hadn’t featured in any of the last four Premier League matches before starting at Newcastle on Saturday.

Edon Zhegrova to replace Dwight McNeil at Everton
Everton are ready to reignite a move for Juventus winger Edon Zhegrova, with the Serie A giants ready to sell him.
It’s been reported that the Toffees may remerge as an option for the Kosovo international after struggling for minutes at the Allianz Stadium.
The Blues wanted to sign the 27-year-old from LOSC Lille last summer, but he opted to join the Bianconeri instead.
Juventus paid around 13.5m for Zhegrova, who had entered the final year of his contract at the Ligue 1 outfit, but it now remains to be seen how much the Italian club will demand for him.

As things stand, the right-winger still has four years left on his current deal in Turin and it wouldn’t be surprising to see the Serie A giant’s demand around £20m for him.
If that’s the case, the Merseyside outfit may be able to use the windfall from McNeil’s possible sale, the amount of which should be similar to their demand in the winter window, to sign the Kosovar forward.
Another player to look over shoulder if David Moyes gets Edon Zhegrova
Tyler Dibling has struggled for game time since completing a big-money move from Southampton to Everton.
Moyes doesn’t seem to have any faith in the 20-year-old at Hill Dickinson Stadium, with Tyrique George coming straight into the team after his loan move from Chelsea.

McNeil and Dibling have both been bit-part players for the Merseyside outfit this season and it will be interesting to see what the future holds for them.
A move for Zhegrova would clearly indicate that the English youngster isn’t in the Blues’ short-term plans, making a loan exit sensible.
