Everton fans will love how Dan Friedkin sees club as sources reveal Iliman Ndiaye latest

Everton have been on an upward trajectory since The Friedkin Group appointed David Moyes in the dugout.

The Toffees were consistently fighting a relegation battle for the last few years, but they’re now firmly in the race to qualify for Europe in the Premier League.

Dan Friedkin has undoubtedly brought his expertise from Roma and is slowly starting to turn the tide at the Blues.

While fans would still have liked to see more investment from the American owners in the last two transfer windows, supporters can still appreciate certain aspects of the new recruitment model in L4.

Iliman Ndiaye not for sale as Everton prepare new contract offer

Iliman Ndiaye is attracting interest from Manchester United, but it will be challenging for any team to prise him away from the Toffees in the summer, Ben Jacobs says.

The GiveMeSport correspondent has revealed that the Blues’ stance on the Senegal international’s possible sale to Old Trafford could possibly be the same as they had when the Red Devils came knocking for Jarrad Branthwaite.

It’s been claimed that Friedkin doesn’t see the Merseyside outfit as a selling club, which fans in Hill Dickinson Stadium will surely love to hear.

While the former Olympique Marseille star could potentially be looking for a move away after his impressive performances in L4, he may be offered a new contract to secure his future at Bramley-Moore Dock.

Speaking on The United Stand on 26 February, Jacobs said, “Everton’s perspective is the same as Branthwaite. Manchester United bid multiple times for Branthwaite, and Dan Friedkin and his team said ‘nope, we’re not selling’. Everton don’t see themselves as a selling club.

“I think Ndiaye may look for a move, but I am actually under the impression from Everton sources that he’s going to be really difficult to get out of that football club this summer, and they might even offer him improved terms.”

Friedkin Group surely plan on mega transfer at Hill Dickinson Stadium

TFG’s ambitions at the Toffees are encouraging to see, and there are expectations among the fanbase that the American owners will spend a significant sum on transfers in the summer to build a competitive squad.

While key areas in the defence, midfield and attack arguably need strengthening, one deal Moyes will surely want Everton to pull off first is for Jack Grealish.

The England international’s loan move to the Blues will end at the end of the season, and while the Scottish manager has already admitted the £50million option to buy the forward from Manchester City may be too much, TFG will undoubtedly be looking to strike an agreement for his return.

Grealish has thrived at the Merseyside outfit, and they’ve struggled since a foot injury sidelined him, clearly making the 30-year-old a priority target for Friedkin in the summer.
