Everton prepared to sanction Nathan Patterson exit amid £13.1m update
Nathan Patterson’s exit from Everton could be edging closer.
Patterson was one of many Toffees stars linked with an exit from Merseyside in the winter, after the Blues were linked with a move to sign former Arsenal defender Brooke Nortoin-Cuffy.
Of course, neither of those deals materialised, and David Moyes was forced to stick with the defensive options he had at his disposal from the start of the campaign.
With that said, Everton are still expected to be in the market for a new right-back in the summer transfer window, and the latest news suggests that Patterson could be moved on as a result.

Zakaria El Ouahdi update could spell the end for Nathan Patterson
Reports emerged abroad on Friday linking Everton with a move to sign Zakaria El Ouahdi.
The 24-year-old has been in fine form for Genk this season, and with 10 goal involvements across all competitions, he has showcased his stature as an attacking defender.
Of those 10 goals and assists, four of them have arrived in the Europa League this season.
And when taking into account his recent form, it will come as no surprise that several top-flight teams have been monitoring him ahead of a potential move.
But if a move to Hill Dickinson does materialise in the summer, it would certainly be with the view of him being a regular starter for Everton, with the Belgian club holding out for a fee in the region of £13.1million
Should that happen, Patterson’s already low importance will be reduced even further, and with just one year left on his deal by then, it would certainly point towards a summer exit from Merseyside.
Where could Patterson go after Everton?
A move to Serie A was heavily mooted for the right-back in the winter, but based on his lack of gametime this season, and presumably his desire to increase that next season, a move elsewhere may make more sense.
And that is where Rangers come in, with the Light Blues having been linked with their former defender on several occasions.
Patterson left Ibrox to make the move to Goodison Park over four years ago, which wasn’t long after he started to break through at Rangers.
A move back to his boyhood club would work for all parties and may appeal to him more than any of his other potential options.
