Keith Andrews has shared how David Moyes can avoid slip-up in Everton vs Burnley

Keith Andrews has just shared his thoughts on Brentford’s game against Burnley, and it could help out David Moyes and Everton.

Burnley were perhaps one of the biggest surprises of the weekend, despite the Clarets not winning their game against Brentford at Turf Moor.

Scott Parker’s side came from three down to equalise and were a dodgy VAR call away from three points, before throwing it all away in a late 4-3 defeat.

Everton are just off the back of another tightly contested affair, as they bested Newcastle 3-2 to keep their hopes of Europe alive.

However, despite their position in the table, Burnley may not be as easy a fixture as it looks on paper, and Moyes could do well to heed what Andrews has just said.

What has Keith Andrews said about Burnley?

Burnley looked to have played with an added tempo against Brentford, in the second half at least, which certainly left the Bees in shock.

It was quite uncharacteristic of the Turf Moor club to score three in one game, but heading into facing Everton, they will now have more confidence in the final third.

Everton’s poor home form continues to hang over their heads, giving Parker another reason to have hope against the Toffees.

Burnley found themselves with the momentum in the second half, and if they manage to be on top against Everton, Andrews may have just issued Moyes advice on how to deal with it.

The Irishman said: “Then in the second half, the momentum was going against us, so it’s about finding ways of stopping that.

“Whether that’s someone taking care with the pass, playing for territory, or just learning how to deal with that and how we can stay calm when the chaos comes.”

With Europe on the line, the last thing Everton need is to drop points at home to the 19th-place side in the Premier League.

Everton should fear Scott Parker’s Burnley – here’s why

When it comes to facing Everton, Parker appears to have the upper hand. Across his four matches against them, he has won two, drawn one and lost one.

Just earlier in this season, the Englishman was able to hold Moyes’ men to a 0-0 draw, and that is now a result Everton cannot afford to achieve.

The battle for Europe is incredibly close, and any slip-up would leave the rest of the pack smelling blood.

However, Moyes himself will certainly have plenty of confidence, as over three fixtures against Parker, he has yet to lose.

Hopefully, that unbeaten record can continue, and the Hill Dickinson can begin to become a fortress for the Blues.
