Jack Grealish loves what he’s seen as message sent after Everton win over Burnley
Jack Grealish was quick to praise his Everton teammates after Tuesday evening’s win over Burnley in the Premier League.
Everton saw off Championship-bound Burnley 2-0 at Hill Dickinson Stadium to keep their European prospects well on course.
James Tarkowski opened the scoring for Everton, before Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall made sure of the points the other side of half-time.
The Toffees are eighth in the Premier League, one point behind seventh-place Brentford in a position that will likely be enough for European football.
Grealish played no part in the win, but he certainly liked what he saw from his living room.
Jack Grealish reacts instantly to Everton victory
In a cruel blow, Grealish is not expected to play again for Everton this season due to an injury sustained in mid-January.
Given he is only on loan from Manchester City, it is therefore likely he has also played his final game in an Everton shirt full stop.
But he certainly has Everton in his heart, with the 30-year-old still keeping a keen eye on things from the comfort of his own home.
Shortly after full-time on Tuesday evening, Grealish posted on his personal Instagram story: “Get in there boys! On absolute fire. So good to watch, wundafulll. UTFT.”

The message was accompanied by a heart-eyes emoji, with Grealish clearly making his feelings towards his teammates well known.
Grealish part of five-year first for Everton
Grealish may not be contributing to Everton’s success right now, but he more than played his part in the first half of the campaign.
The Man City loanee scored a couple of goals and assisted six more in 22 Premier League appearances.
After James Garner’s assist for Tarkowski’s opener on Tuesday, Everton now have two different players providing five-plus assists in a single top-flight campaign for the first time since 2020-21.
Back then, it was Lucas Digne (seven) and Gylfi Sigurdsson (five) to do so.

It is the first time since 2010-11, meanwhile, that two different English players have done so for Everton (Leighton Baines and Leon Osman).
Everton really are flying right now under Moyes, but the Toffees now have a 10-day break before they return to league action against Arsenal at Emirates Stadium.
Let’s hope the momentum remains heading into that showdown against the Premier League leaders.
