Everton told the exact problem that can be solved if Iliman Ndiaye is kept for one more season
Ex-Everton legend Anders Limpar is a huge fan of Iliman Ndiaye and would like to see the Toffees keep him for at least one more season.
David Moyes knows how important the Senegalese forward is to his side, and will have been delighted that the Blues managed to fend off interest in the winter market.
But the current optics are suggesting that the Toffees have a good chance of bringing European football to Hill Dickinson Stadium next season, and for that, they will want to keep their star man.
However, Everton have faced wider issues this season, which, if solved, could have them fighting even further up the Premier League table this season.
Limpar knows that it’s heavily connected to Ndiaye and his long-term stay on Merseyside.

Anders Limpar says Everton can challenge for top six for ‘many years’ by keeping Iliman Ndiaye
Ndiaye has been absent this season due to commitments with Senegal at the African Cup of Nations, and his impact was sorely missed over the winter period.
But he’s come back at a time where Jack Grealish has just been injured, which has only placed more importance on the former.
The winger still seems to be stepping up to the plate, and Limpar is sure of what will happen should everything come together for Everton this summer.
- Arsenal and Manchester United are said to be interested in Ndiaye
- He has played 25 times for the Toffees this season
- In total, he has 19 goal contributions in his Everton career
Limpar said, as quoted by the Liverpool Echo on Thursday: “I hope Everton see that and they don’t let him [Ndiaye] go because if we sign Grealish, keep Ndiaye and solve this problem up front with a proper number nine who can score goals, then Everton can challenge for the top six for many years.”
For many years, the Blues have fought to compete for the top 10, let alone the top six, but this outcome could change everything.
Bluenoses are all aware of Ndiaye’s influence, and building a team around him with the likes of Grealish and Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall could completely transform the Toffees.

How much could Everton get from Ndiaye sale?
Everton may have the finances to afford snubbing multi-million-pound interest for Ndiaye, but they also have to consider the player’s emotions too.
If the 26-year-old wanted to leave Hill Dickinson in the summer, then the Friedkin Group wouldn’t have much choice but to sell him with interest present.
Ex-Everton scout Bryan King says Ndiaye is worth at least £50million, and that an offer of anything less should not be considered.
That’s probably now the bare minimum that Everton would look at selling the left-winger for, but regardless, his departure could bring game-changing funds.
But as Limpar suggests, keeping Ndiaye and building the team around him could be the most important thing for Moyes to do.
