Jack Grealish responds as Everton send six-word injury message on social media

Everton continue to be without Jack Grealish due to injury.

The Englishman joined the Toffees on loan in the summer, but his time on Merseyside has unfortunately been curtailed by a foot issue which required surgery.

Before his injury, David Moyes had helped to get the best out of the attacking midfielder after a difficult spell at Manchester City.

Pep Guardiola’s treatment of the 30-year-old didn’t help his form, something which certainly changed at the Hill Dickinson Stadium this campaign.

It is frustrating that Grealish is missing after requiring surgery, but the Toffees have continued to reach out and support him on social media.

Everton send new message to Jack Grealish

The attacker has certainly been a breath of fresh air for the Blues and has helped them move up to the next level.

European football is now a possibility, and although Grealish won’t play a role in potentially sealing that, he certainly had a sizable impact earlier in the season.

That made his injury all the more frustrating, especially with him being on a season-long loan from Man City.

Even with that being the case, the Toffees have continued to reach out in support of the Englishman on his road to recovery

Everton took to Instagram on Monday to wish him well, saying: “Keep going with the rehab, Jack.”

The loanee replied with two blue love hearts and heart hands emojis, only reinforcing Everton’s desire to sign Grealish permanently even more.

When could Grealish return from injury?

It doesn’t look likely to be a new sighting of the attacking midfielder in a Blues shirt before the end of the campaign.

His surgery will help with his injury problem, but it is unlikely to make him available between now and the final games of the season.

That will likely mean that the start of the new campaign marks a more realistic goal for Grealish on his road to recovery.

As annoying as that may be for the Toffees, they could be ready to see a new look Englishman moving forward if he is to sign permanently.
