‘Stealing a living’ – These Everton fans tear into one player v Newcastle

The Everton supporters keep hoping that winger Theo Walcott will somehow rediscover the form of his Arsenal heyday.

However, with each passing game that hope ebbs further and further away. The England international simply hasn’t done it in a blue shirt.

That certainly continued on Tuesday night in the Toffees’ 2-2 draw with Newcastle United at Goodison Park.

It was a fine performance from Carlo Ancelotti’s side – until stoppage time, anyway – but Walcott didn’t escape criticism for another sub-standard display.

The 30-year-old has all the touch and finesse of an ice-skating elephant. He is seemingly incapable of delivering in the final third.

The club’s supporters didn’t let him get away with another poor outing, with one of them claiming he’s ‘stealing a living’.

In other Everton news, the club reportedly missed out on a midfielder signed by a Premier League rival on Tuesday.
