Journalist: Everton player yet to secure loan extension, Spanish club share intentions

A number of contracts and loan spells will come to an end on Tuesday evening, with some Everton players set to be affected by the deadline.

The Toffees have a number of players out on loan, with Sandro Ramirez, Luke Garbutt and Josh Bowler just some of the names away from the club.

It has been confirmed that Garbutt will leave the club in July, but what about the others and their potential futures at Goodison Park.

Bowler, currently at Hull City in the Championship, has already extended his loan spell and will return to Merseyside at the end of the season.

Sandro’s future is less straight forward and the Liverpool Echo journalist Adam Jones has shared an update on the current state of affairs with the Spaniard.

Jones has claimed that Valladolid want to extend his loan spell until the end of the season, but no agreement is yet in place for that to happen.

This is Sandro’s third loan spell in-a-row and that does suggest that Everton don’t see a future at the club for the 24-year-old.

Sandro hasn’t exactly impressed in Spain, and has done himself no favours if he wanted to secure a future in the Premier League under Carlo Ancelotti.

The forward has scored three goals in 20 goals, averaging nearly two shots on goal per game according to WhoScored – not the best conversion rate in the world.

With Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Moise Kean currently at the club, it will be near-impossible to find a spot in the squad for Sandro, and it will be even harder if Ancelotti targets another forward in the summer.
