Everton table ‘good offer’ for Serie A winger – report

Everton may have strengthened their midfield with three new signings, but they are reportedly not stopping there.

The Toffees trio of Allan, James Rodriguez and Abdoulaye Doucoure all started against Tottenham on Sunday.

All three impressed massively in the capital, helping Carlo Ancelotti’s men to a 1-0 victory against Spurs.

Ancelotti has now given Marcel Brands the task of finding him a new winger ahead of the transfer deadline next month.

Italian outlet, Corrieredellosport have reported on their website that Everton have tabled a ‘good offer’ for Roma winger Cengiz Under.

Napoli were also said to be interested, but they have moved on with their interest to look elsewhere now that the Toffees have signalled their intent.

Roma are looking to sell a number of attacking options at the club, with Justin Kluivert also another potential outgoing player from the Italian capital.

The Turkish international has scored twice in pre-season for Roma already in pre-season against both Frosinone and Cagliari.

That is better than last season though, where the 23-year-old only managed six goals and one assist in Serie A – numbers that must improve.

Everton may miss out though, with Gianluca Di Marzio reporting that Leicester City are closing in on the winger.

The Premier League rivals are set to seal the switch which will be an initial loan move with an obligation to buy, time to move on for the Toffees?
