'He'll fit right in' - Exclusive: Campbell believes Everton should move for Anderson
We’re delighted to welcome former Everton striker Kevin Campbell as our exclusive columnist. Each week the former Toffees captain will be giving his views on the biggest talking points at Goodison Park…
Kevin Campbell believes that Felipe Anderson would be a good addition to Everton’s squad amid reports that claim the Blues have been offered the Brazilian.
Journalist Fabrizio Romano has claimed that the Toffees have been offered the winger, despite him currently being on loan at Portuguese side FC Porto.
The 27-year-old has barely played while out on loan and the Irons could recall him this month in hope of selling him on, Campbell thinks he would be a good signing for the Blues.
Speaking to Goodison News, Campbell said, “I like him, I think he’s good.
“He’s got excellent control. A good player with good quality and he’ll be a good addition to that Everton squad if they can get him.

“I don’t think it’s a risk. I think he’s got size as well where Bernard is small. Felipe Anderson is a big strong runner and he’ll fit right in with the Everton squad.”
Everton may make a move for a new winger this month if Bernard is sold with the 28-year-old potentially leaving Goodison Park during January.
If Carlo Ancelotti could get Anderson back to the form he found during his first season with West Ham then he could be an incredible signing.
The Brazilian scored nine goals during his debut Premier League season and he was one of the standout performers in the division.
His form has declined since but that talent must still be inside Anderson somewhere.
However, if David Moyes doesn’t think that Anderson is worth keeping around then it may be a bit of risk to sign the player.
West Ham will want to get rid of Anderson but they also won’t want to make a massive loss on the player who was once their record signing.
With the Toffees not looking to spend big this month, we can’t see this one happening.
