‘Best game he’s had’, ‘Fantastic’ – Everton Super Fans pick MOTM from draw v Man Utd
Everton secured a well earned and dramatic point at Old Trafford on Saturday evening as the Blues drew 3-3 with Manchester United.
After doing 2-0 down, goals from Abdoulaye Doucoure and James Rodriguez brought us back level before a Scott McTominay header left us trailing once again.
However, the game was turned on its head once again as Dominic Calvert-Lewin scored a late goal to share the spoils.
It was very much a game of two halves for Carlo Ancelotti’s side as a poor first 45 minutes suggested that another loss was on the cards.
The second period brought an improved performance and in the end, a draw was a fair result even if Ole Gunnar Solskjaer thinks his side were hard done by.
There were plenty of brilliant performances for Everton, along with some not so good ones, but there were plenty of choices for the man of the match accolade.
We asked our Everton Super Fans who they thought the man of the match was and there was a fairly varied response.
Here is who our panel of Everton Super Fans picked as their man of the match.
Aide Dews (@AidyDews)
Matthew Bigley (@matti_bigley)
Louis Parr (@LParr01)

The midfield drew most of the praise here and rightly so.
Tom Davies, Andre Gomes and Doucoure were all excellent and all are worthy of the man of the match award.
For us, it has to be Davies for his second-half improvement though we could easily have given it to the other midfielders as they ran the show at Old Trafford.
With Allan not far off a first-team return, Ancelotti may have a major selection dilemma ahead of him.
In other Everton news, the stats show that this Blues player had a brilliant game v Man Utd.
