‘We’ll definitely get there’ – Richarlison backs Ancelotti for Everton success
Richarlison has backed Everton boss Carlo Ancelotti to be the man who can lead the club to success.
The Toffees ended a run of three Premier League games without a win against Liverpool last weekend, claiming their first victory over their bitter rivals since 2010.
With Southampton next set to travel to Goodison Park on Monday, Ancelotti will hope that his players can continue to build momentum as they seek to European qualification.
Talking to Everton TV, the 23-year old suggested that the club’s recent successes were as a result of appointing a manager of Ancelotti’s calibre.
Richarlison said: “Mr Ancelotti really gets on our case, so we continue training hard and are strong going into games.
“The manager’s arrival was really important for the Club. He’s a winner, he instils into the players a strong mentality to win games and that’s what’s happening.
“We have a very good, young team but we’re also aware that we’ve had to suffer for this and now is the time to reap the rewards.
“We know we have the potential to be towards the top and we’ll definitely get there.”

Here’s hoping
It’s been a long time since Everton experienced success in the truest sense – silverware on Merseyside is long overdue.
Other than returning to the Europa League under Roberto Martinez and then again under Ronald Koeman, Everton have done very little over the past decade.
However the Blues should now be in a different position, with Ancelotti having the talent pool, the financial backing and the personal pull to build himself a squad that can compete.
Everton fans have waited for a long time to see the club back on top, or at the very least competing at that level, and now everything seems to be in place for that to happen in the near future.
We just have to cross our fingers and wait and see how things play out.
