Kevin Campbell is backing Everton to continue their winning run with a narrow win over West Brom at The Hawthorns on Thursday.
The Blues followed up their derby win with another three-point haul as a Richarlison goal was enough to see off a resolute Southampton side on Monday.
Super Kev recognised the importance of Thursday’s game for both sides and claims Everton will have to turn up to get anything out of the match.
“Both teams need the points that’s for sure,” Campbell told Goodison News.
“The bottom line comes down to who turns up on the day. Everton will go in as favourites because of their league position.
“But we know league position means nothing when you’re scratching around the bottom so Everton will have to turn up.
“My head says 2-1 Everton.”
Sam Allardyce will be looking for a result over his former side with his current team languishing in the relegation zone.
Albion beat Brighton at the weekend in controversial circumstances as the visitors missed two penalties.
They can’t afford to give us the same amount of opportunities as we pose a considerably more dangerous threat in our attack.
We were sharp against the Saints but didn’t take our chances and this is something we need to rectify.
We can’t afford to blow up against sides like West Brom as these are the games we tend to drop points in.
A Dominic Calvert-Lewin goal wouldn’t go amiss after he failed to find the net at home against Southampton despite turning in a solid performance.
This game should be an easy win, which for Everton means we’ll probably make very hard work of it.
