Everton Women expert: Toffees ‘should be aiming’ to end the season strong
We’re delighted to welcome Peter MacFarlane, member of the Everton Women Official Supporters Club, as our exclusive Everton Women expert.
Everton Women got back to winning ways against Brighton last Sunday, having failed to beat Women’s Super League leaders Chelsea the week prior.
The Toffees ran out 5-0 victors at Broadfield Stadium against the Seagulls, with Izzy Christiansen, Hayley Raso and Simone Magill all on target for the away side.
The Blues now face Aston Villa this afternoon before facing West Ham, Arsenal and Manchester United as the WSL draws to a close.

Talking exclusively to Goodison News, MacFarlane explained that the club now need to continue building momentum as they look to end the season on a positive note.
MacFarlane said: “With the players we have and the ambition of the club we should be aiming to finish the season on a high.
“The improvement over the last three seasons has been incredible, but the potential in this squad and with this management team is huge. Every single player will want to give their all as they will want to be a part of this project going into next season and beyond.
“I can see this summer being another huge summer in terms of investment and signings so it’s up to the players here now to give their all to fight for their place in the team.
“The last two games will be particularly hard against two fantastic teams in Arsenal and Manchester United, but if we are going to make the next step up and really challenge next season, what better way to make a statement of intent than by going toe to toe with two of the best teams in the league.”

In other Everton news, The Athletic reported Gregg O’Keeffe has hinted at Everton forward’s likely summer exit from Goodison Park.
