Juventus consider quartet in player exchange for Everton ace Kean
Juventus would be willing to offer one of four players in a player-plus-cash exchange in order to sign Everton forward Moise Kean this summer.
The Italian giants are keen to reunite with the 21-year old striker, currently on loan with Paris Saint-Germain, after selling him to the Toffees for £25million in 2019.
Kean failed to impress during his time on Merseyside but he has cut a completely different figure in Paris, having scored 16 goals in 33 games for the Ligue 1 champions.
La Gazzetta dello Sport claim that Juventus are desperate to reunite with Kean when the transfer window reopens, though Everton’s £43.4million (€50million) asking fee is too steep for them to afford outright.
As such they would be prepared to offer Adrien Rabiot, Aaron Ramsey, Merih Demiral or Federico Berdardeschi in part-exchange.
La Gazzetta dello Sport also claim that Everton’s preference would be to land Demiral, with the Blues believed to be keen on signing a new centre-back this summer.
Plenty of options
Moise Kean’s rise for PSG should certainly see Everton receive financial gain, so even if they were to accept a part-exchange offer Juventus would need to make it worth their while.
Out of all the players supposedly offered, Rabiot appears to be the best option. Everton need midfield reinforcement this summer and the Frenchman is in the prime of his career, while Ramsey is on the wrong side of 30.
Bernardeschi could also represent smart business for Everton, with the Italian winger possessing the pace and width that the Toffees are desperate to recruit. He’s also only recently turned 27, meaning he has plenty more to give at the highest level, while he can play on either wing.
Demiral is an interesting target because La Gazzetta continue to perpetuate speculation that the Blues are desperate to sign a centre-back, in spite of the fact that Ancelotti has suggested that to be untrue. The Turkey international has been linked as a target before, but as things stand it’s difficult to see where he fits in.
If Kean doesn’t remain with Everton next season, and it’s looking increasingly unlikely that he will, the club must ensure they receive the best deal out of the young star’s sale.
