Everton will be in hunt for Crystal Palace winger Wilfried Zaha this summer

Everton want Crystal Palace winger Wilfried Zaha this summer regardless of who becomes the next manager, according to the Daily Mail.

The Ivory Coast international wants to leave Selhurst Park and the Toffees remain keen despite having two formal offers rejected two summers ago.

Tottenham Hotspur are also keeping tabs on Zaha’s situation, and it is believed around £30million could be enough to land the attacking midfielder [Daily Mail].

The 28-year-old will not be short of suitors this summer, but whether Palace will be open to selling their most important player remains to be seen.

Great bargain for £30m

Everton owner Farhad Moshiri appears to be a huge fan of Zaha’s qualities, personally telling the Palace star in the summer of 2019 he would be playing for the Goodison Park outfit the following season [The Athletic].

The Eagles’ £80million valuation of their player at the time saw the move fall through [Daily Mail], but the transfer market has since changed drastically as a result of the coronavirus pandemic.

£30million for Zaha is a steal given his qualities, and Everton could do with such a player as they look to establish themselves as a side playing regular European football.

The former Manchester United winger has 47 goals and 25 assists in 231 Premier League games and is one of the best wingers in the league.

Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola is a known admirer of the Ivory Coast star, telling Monday Night Football back in 2018 that he is a big fan.

Zaha is not particularly the marquee signing we would love to see Everton sign, but he has what it takes to be better and can be a massive addition to our attacking line-up in his prime years.

The club wants him regardless of who comes in, but whether he feels the same way is up for debate.
