Kevin Campbell urges Everton to not make move for Miralem Pjanic
We’re delighted to welcome former Everton striker Kevin Campbell as our exclusive columnist. Each week the former Toffees captain will be giving his views on the biggest talking points at Goodison Park…
Kevin Campbell has urged Everton to not make a move for Miralem Pjanic in the summer transfer window.
Fichajes has reported in the past couple of weeks that the Bosnian international is keen to leave the Nou Camp, and could be available for £25million.
Campbell believes that is far too much money for a player who is struggling for minutes and has no Premier League experience.

Speaking exclusively to Goodison News, Campbell said, “I think that ends it.
“His age too, he’s the wrong side of 30-years-old, really you don’t want to be spending too much money on a player whos not going to know the Premier League, hasn’t played much.
“Good player, but is he the answer? I don’t think he is.”

Spot on.
Pjanic has been a big name throughout Europe for many years now, but that is very quickly coming to an end.
The 31-year-old may have been at Barcelona and Juventus in recent spells, but even Andre Gomes arrived from one of those, and he hasn’t set the world alight.
Whoever is in charge next has to be smarter with his transfer business, and bringing in those older players hasn’t really worked at Goodison Park for years.
We are crying out for younger options in midfield, and someone who can come on and make an impact over the likes of Gylfi Sigurdsson.
Campbell is spot on, please listen.
