Everton sources: No snag in talks with Nuno Espirito Santo
Everton sources have hit back at claims that talks with Nuno Espirito Santo had hit a snag on Tuesday.
TalkSPORT had reported that talks had stalled with Nuno, and Rafa Benitez had re-emerged as a strong contender to take over at Goodison Park.
Shared by the Liverpool Echo on Wednesday though, Toffees sources strongly hit back at those claims.

It was reported that the African-born manager is still well and truly in the race, and could take over.
“Reports on Tuesday said talks with the Portuguese coach had hit a snag but the Blues sources were last night rejecting the claims and insisting that the 47-year-old remained in the race,” they wrote.
With players not returning until the 5th of July, it is suggested that there is no rush to make this major decision.
Three weeks into the search it appeared as though Nuno was the man, and although this latest update, it isn’t exactly confirmed.

Confusion.
Numerous issues have been suggested in talks, but the report claiming they had hit a snag were completely new this week.
It was believable too, given that the Portuguese boss had seen talks with Crystal Palace break down when he looked set to take over.
Farhad Moshiri is the one pushing for this deal to be completed, and given that there could be a divide in the boardroom, this circus is set to continue.
Suggestions that they are taking their time could be very wrong, it may just be the many different figures of the board all favouring different men.
There may be three weeks until pre-season, but they will go quickly, and before we know it the Premier League will start.
This has to be sorted, Nuno or not.
