Alan Myers: Rafa Benitez still not 100% confirmed as Everton boss
Everton appear to be edging ever closer to appointing Rafa Benitez as their new manager this week at Goodison Park.
The Telegraph has reported that the Spaniard has signed a three-year deal at the club, despite mass protests from fans.
Alan Myers has been one of the closest to the developments and suggested that the deal still isn’t 100% confirmed.

Responding to a fan on his personal Twitter account, Myers was blunt when asked if the deal was finalised and ready to go.
“No,” he wrote.
It would be very Everton if the deal was to collapse at the last moment, leaving us scrambling and looking for someone else to take charge.
With pre-season set to start again in the next week, it would be ideal to have someone in charge ready to give them over a month to prepare for the Premier League.
Don’t mess this up.
We don’t have much hope with Farhad Moshiri leading the hunt, as he appears to have lost all touch with the fans.
Despite being an ill-advised choice, the treatment of Benitez has been shocking, and this is still an experienced manager we are talking about.
The Spaniard has won it all in football, and bringing back silverware to Goodison Park would silence the majority of those critics.
With the deal not yet being 100% confirmed, it may not be announced today, but it looks as though it should be by the end of the week.
