Everton frontrunners to sign Merih Demiral this summer – report
Everton are the front runners to sign Juventus defender Merih Demiral this summer, according to Calciomercato.
The Italian outlet have reported on their website that the Serie A giants are now open to selling the Turkish international.
The Toffees are said to be ahead of others in the race, with more than one club requesting information on the enforcer.

Regardless of the manager hunt still not being resolved, Everton look set to be cracking on with their transfer business.
Rafa Benitez is expected to be announced at Goodison Park this week, and the Spaniard could arrive with numerous negotiations ongoing.
Marcel Brands has been tasked with transfer business in the near past, and he is getting on with it once again.
Demiral crashed out of EURO 2020 early with Turkey this month, leaving his future the only matter left to resolve this summer.

Costly.
Demiral has a huge price tag of £34.4million, although Juventus look open to negotiating that fee over the summer.
The Toffees are highly unlikely to chuck that sort of money though, and it would need to drop drastically before making any move.
Thankfully, Everton and Brands appear to have made the move first and that coukd given them time to negotiate the fee down.
Demiral had a shocker at the EUROs, including that own-goal against Italy, but so did the entire Turkish side, and he can’t be judged on the tournament alone.
Having shined at Sassuolo and earning that move to Juventus, it appears as though he is ready to move away from Italy, could Merseyside be his next destination?
