Kevin Campbell reacts with Rafa Benitez set for Everton job

Kevin Campbell has insisted that Rafa Benitez ticks all the right boxes ahead of his expected Everton appointment this week.
The Spaniard is set to take charge at Goodison Park and it has led to severe protests given his Liverpool past at Anfield.
Campbell believes that many Toffees fans are now coming round to the idea, with not many available managers better than Benitez.
Speaking exclusively to Goodison News, Campbell said, “I’ve got quite a bit to say on this.
“There are some die-hards who don’t want to see it, but there’s a lot of Evertonians who are coming round to the way of thinking.
“There aren’t many with better resume’s than Rafa Benitez, and he knows what he’s doing, knows Merseyside, so there are no problems transitioning to the club.
“Everton needs someone who knows how to build. He ticks all the boxes.”
Here we go.
It is hard to argue with this point.
Stripping away the fact that Benitez has managed Liverpool, and you have a cracking boss who has won everything there is to win in football.
The Spaniard will be tasked with bringing back silverware to Goodison Park, and if he does that, he will easily become somewhat of a hero.
Campbell appears excited, and we think it is time to get behind Benitez and give him the backing that he needs.
It is hard enough transforming the fortunes of a club, but when the fanbase aren’t on your side, it will be even worst.
