Benitez & Brands have Everton transfer meeting, Dumfries discussed
Rafa Benitez and Marcel Brands have already discussed their transfer plans at Everton, according to the Liverpool Echo.
The Spaniard was officially confirmed on Wednesday and went through an action-packed day with the media in his new surroundings.
That didn’t stop meetings with the likes of David Unsworth, Leighton Baines, Sarvar Ismailov and the board throughout the day.

It was transfers that took centre-stage though, with the Toffees squad likely to need rebuilding ahead of the campaign.
Right-back is a clear area that needs strengthening, and there was one name on the lips of both Benitez and Brands.
PSV Eindhoven defender Denzel Dumfries has been discussed by both Bentiez and Brands, after his incredible EUROs campaign this summer.
The right-back looked more like a right-winger, and despite crashing out against the Czech Republic last week, still managed two goals in the tournament.

Uncertain.
Despite being heavily discussed in meetings this week, it has been described as uncertain whether Dumfries is an actual target at Goodison Park.
It would be a huge mistake to miss out on him, and Brands has to use his Dutch connections to get this one over the line.
Seamus Coleman has been superb when available, but we can’t have another year of forcing Ben Godfrey into a position where he isn’t entirely comfortable.
Lucas Digne has shined down the left in recent years, imagine someone with a similar threat level down the opposite flank.
It would be an incredible sight to behold and make the Toffees nearly impossible to deal with in attacking situations.
Make it happen.
