Fabrizio Romano: Number of clubs keen on signing Richarlison this summer
Everton attacker Richarlison is subject to transfer interest from a number of clubs, claims Fabrizio Romano.
The Brazilian, who is currently on international duty at the Copa America, has been linked with an exit in the past, but things haven’t materialised and he has stayed put at Goodison Park.
Carlo Ancelotti’s departure could have complicated things, but Rafa Benitez is keen on keeping the player for next season.

Speaking about the Everton forward on his new Twitch venture, Romano said, “There are a lot of teams interested in Richarlison but Everton and Rafa Benitez are going to talk to him to convince him to stay at the club.
“That’s where we stand regarding him.”
New contract in the offing?
We are very likely to lose the services of James Rodriguez this summer, and letting go of Richarlison too, would prove to be a double attacking blow that would require a huge overhaul.
Moise Kean also seemingly has his heart set on returning to PSG, so he is also ruled out as an attacking option for next season unless Benitez convinces him to stay [Saber Desfarges].

We have been linked with a number of attacking players, but holding on to Richarlison is of paramount importance.
He’ll know that the club will have made certain promises to Benitez before he signed the contract and could use it to leverage a new deal for himself.
Currently, he’s not short on time on his contract with it running for another three years, but he could look for a pay hike to convince him to stay.
It remains to be seen what the future holds for him, but we’re confident that Benitez and Marcel Brands can sit down with the player and come to a conclusion that will be beneficial for the football club.
