Ralf Seuntjens has insisted that Everton may need to pay Mino Raiola more than £4.2million to sign Denzel Dumfries.

The journalist told FC Afkicken, a daily show on all things Dutch football, that any move for the PSV Eindhoven start could get complicated.

Dumfries will in total supposedly cost up to £21.4million, with only £12.8million going to the club, with the rest to Dumfries and Raiola.

"I heard that Dumfries has to cost €15m (£12.8m), and everything that is more is split by two," he told FC Afkicken.

"So suppose the transfer fee is €25m (£21.4m), then €15m plus €5m (£4.2m) will go to PSV and €5m to Mino Raiola and Denzel."

Cashing in.

The post on Twitter suggests that Raiola is "cashing in", proving once again that the super-agent is only concerned about the money.

Dumfries has had a sensational summer with Holland at the EUROs, and competition is surely set to be rising for the flyer.

Fabrizio Romano did report this week that the Toffees had gone quiet on this one, but the longer Dumfries doesn't seal the move, the cheaper the price could get.

Jonjoe Kenny is likely to leave Goodison Park this summer, and that leaves Seamus Coleman as the only out-and-out right back.

His experience will be key, but we need someone who is capable of playing every single week ahead of him given his injury worries.

Raiola is willing to take as much money as he can in any deal he completes, so this may be one to avoid in the long run.
