View: Everton should sign Euro 2020 star Patrick Schick this summer
Czech Republic star and Bayer Leverkusen striker Patrik Schick has been linked with a move to Everton recently by Gazzetta dello Sport [July 5], and he would be the ideal addition for the Toffees.
The 25-year-old lit up Euro 2020 with five goals, including what might well be the goal of the tournament when he scored from just inside Scotland’s half at Hampden Park.
His incredible form at the Euros has seen his price tag jump up to 40million Euros [£34.2million], but he would be worth every penny for the Toffees who are hoping to be more ambitious under Rafael Benitez and push on up the table.

Schick proved exactly what he could do during the Euros and popped up with all kinds of finishes, which is something Everton could do with.
Dominic Calvert-Lewin had a fantastic 2020/21 campaign, but a lot of his goals were headers or with the right-foot from close range, while Schick’s in the Euros have been varied.
It should be noted that we are not saying the Toffees should buy Schick to replace Calvert-Lewin unless he leaves, of course [The Telegraph]. Instead, we think Schick would be an ideal option to have off the bench or rotate with the England forward.

If the Toffees are to push on up the league, you would think they might need more than one quality striker, and that is where Schick fits in.
The 25-year-old has been recently praised by his national team boss Jaroslav Silhavy who described him as “genius” [Prague Daily Star].
There are many people out there who rate Schick highly, and Everton should be all over the 25-year-old.
Yes, he will cost a lot, but he will turn out to be more than worth it.
