View: Real Madrid reportedly open to sale of Rodrygo, Brands must sign him
Real Madrid are reportedly willing to part ways with attacker Rodrygo this summer and Everton are one of the teams interested in signing him.
According to Spanish publication Fichajes, Rafa Benitez’s arrival at Goodison park has led to him demanding certain players this summer, of whom Rodrygo is one of the names he’s keen on bringing to Merseyside.
However, it will not be easy to sign the Brazilian as Sevilla and Napoli are also circling around the player and could look to come in with concrete offers in the coming weeks.

Thrilling player
Marcel Brands must do everything he can to bring the Real Madrid forward to Everton.
He comes with the pedigree of playing at one of the best teams in the world, and would be a guaranteed starter at the club.
We’ve played a 4-3-3 for the most part under Carlo Ancelotti, but Benitez could switch to a 4-2-3-1 to fit in Rodrygo, Dominic Calvert-Lewin, Richarlison and James Rodriguez in the same team.
Still only 20, Rodrygo has a lot left in his tank and we’re still to see just how good he can be. He was initially favoured by Zinedine Zidane but eventually fell out of favour with the Frenchman who parted ways with the club at the end of the season.

It’s understood that Ancelotti’s arrival hasn’t affected Rodrygo’s future in the slightest, which opens the door for us to make a swoop for him.
Thus far, he’s bagged five goals and as many assists in 16 Champions League appearances, and netting a further three goals and six assists in 41 La Liga matches.
Signing a rapid and tricky player like him would get the fans excited as well, after the underwhelming arrivals of Andros Townsend and Demarai Gray, and Brands should take the steps in order to get this one over the line.
