Barcelona want over £12.7m for goalkeeper Neto, Everton and Arsenal interested
Barcelona want over £12.7million for Brazilian goalkeeper Neto amid interest from Everton, Arsenal and Villarreal, according to Sport.
The Spanish news outlet claims Villarreal will not be able to sign Neto, 32, for the price Barcelona want unless they agree a loan-to-buy deal while the shot-stopper is not the first choice for both Everton and Arsenal.
It is understood that Barca want to cash in on Neto while the former Valencia and Fiorentina goalkeeper has also told the club he wants to leave the Nou Camp so he can get more game-time and work his way back into the Brazil squad.

Why?
Everton don’t need another goalkeeper.
It’s really odd to see the Blues linked with the Barcelona goalkeeper, not only because Rafa Benitez has already signed Asmir Begovic to serve as Jordan Pickford’s back-up but also because Barcelona want so much money for him.
Everton have barely spent anything on their three new signings so far this summer with two of them coming on a free transfer and Demarai Gray arriving from Bayer Leverkusen for only a couple of million.
Neto isn’t worth as much as Barca want but due to the well-documented financial issues at the Catalan club, you can see why they would be so desperate.
Neto made 12 appearances in all competitions for Barca last season, keeping clean sheets in half of those outings.
But that’s not really that impressive for a Barcelona team who should be dominating in Spain with the talent they have.
Neto just doesn’t impress us at all and we really don’t need him.
This is such an odd transfer rumour.
