Mino Raiola agrees agent fees with Inter for Denzel Dumfries, Everton on back foot

Everton have been handed a major blow in their pursuit of PSV Eindhoven star Denzel Dumfries this summer.

Calciomercato has reported that Inter Milan have now agreed an agent fee with Mino Raiola, and are pushing to complete the deal.

All that is left is for the two clubs to agree a fee now, leaving the Toffees with a big decision to make.

Marcel Brands will need to act quickly if he is to hijack this move.

Inter appear to have re-entered the race with the expected sale of Romelu Lukaku handing them major funds.

The Italians are plotting an offer of £12.7million as they look to get the deal over the line for the Dutch superstar.

Everton are only said to be considering a loan move at this moment in time, something that well-and-truly sticks us on the back foot [Liverpool Echo].

PSV are surely going to prefer guaranteed cash, and that looks like something the Toffees simply can’t do right now.

Really?

Things aren’t looking very good right now as we look to add another right-back to our ranks.

Rafa Benitez will surely be fuming with this, especially given that £12.7million isn’t exactly a huge figure in this current market.

With the financial fair play rules hanging over us at this moment in time, players need to leave before any permanent deals are completed.

James Rodriguez, Fabian Delph and Andre Gomes are three of those linked with the exit door recently, but it appears as though nothing is close to being done.

It will be very hard to wave goodbye to this one, but it looks as though Dumfries will be playing elsewhere next season, although fingers crossed something changes quickly.
