Alan Myers: Anthony Martial going nowhere amid Everton interest
Everton have been linked with a sensational summer move for Manchester United forward Anthony Martial this week.
The Mirror reported this weekend that the Toffees are interested in bringing the Frenchman to Goodison Park this summer.
It is suggested that it would cost £50million, but that Rafa Benitez would prefer a loan switch for the season.

Alan Myers is always close to the pulse regarding Everton and their targets, and has shared another update on Tuesday.
Writing on his personal Twitter account, Myers shared the verdict of Manchester United amid interest from Inter Milan as well.
“Anthony Martial will be staying at Manchester United this summer despite links to Inter Milan,” he wrote.
Never in a million years.
This was certainly a non-starter, ever since the links surfaced.
Manchester United would only cut ties if they could recoup the £50million they spent on Martial, so they can go back into the market themselves.
Everton can’t afford that, nowhere near, and a loan move would make no sense for the Red Devils, who could still utilise him themselves.
Benitez is desperate for attacking reinforcements, with James Rodriguez wanting to leave, and no real backup options behind Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Richarlison.
Martial would have given us that exactly, but if we don’t cough up £50million, it won’t happen and that isn’t sustainable right now.
We will likely hit the loan market between now and the end of August, and that leaves Marcel Brands looking for another target.
