Everton Super Fans react to Alex Iwobi links with Atalanta
This is part of a regular series from our panel of Everton Super Fans. Each week, Super Fans from our Goodison News Facebook page will deliver their verdicts on the biggest talking points and news stories around Goodison Park
Everton are in a position where it looks as though they will need to sell players in order to bring some in.
The Toffees have brought in Demarai Gray, Asmir Begovic and Andros Townsend, but none have cost significant money.
Rafa Benitez still wants another right-back and attacking options with numerous players linked with exits.

Alex Iwobi has recently become one of those.
It has been reported by Tuttomercatoweb that Atalanta have made contact with the Toffees over the Nigerian international.
After qualifying for the Champions League again, the Serie A side have enquired, leaving both club and player with a decision to make.
Iwobi would have to “reshape” his salary in order to make the move, and if he does that, he will fly across to Italy.

We asked our esteemed panel of Everon Super Fans over on Facebook to react to the news, and their response was overwhelming.
The majority admitted they would pack Iwobi’s bags for him this summer, and appeared happy to get rid of the Nigerian winger.
Here’s what they said below…

It’s clear to see why, he simply didn’t deliver enough last season.
The 25-year-old only scored one goal in his 30 appearances in the Premier League and added two assists – nowhere near good enough.
It looks as though it may be time to move on.
