Kevin Campbell singles out Demarai Gray as one to watch at Everton

Kevin Campbell has singled out Demarai Gray as the one Everton player he is most excited to watch in the Premier League.
The winger signed from Bayer Leverkusen over the summer and was one of the standout performers during pre-season.
Campbell believes Gray needs to add some consistency to his flair and promise in order to add something different for the Toffees.
Speaking exclusively to Goodison News, Campbell said, “I’d like to see Demarai Gray fulfil some of that potential that he’s got.
“The talent he’s got is fantastic, but if you can add some consistency, and add a bit of craft to Everton, he’s a maverick, you don’t know what you’re going to get at times.
“He needs to come to the party, I’m excited to see him.”

Gray has certainly shined during pre-season with assists and goals throughout, but now it is time to do it on the big stage.
It is all good doing that against the likes of Millionaires, but if he shows nothing against Southampton, it means nothing.
We are uncertain whether or not he will start at Goodison Park, much will depend on Richarlison, Dominic Calvert-Lewin and James Rodriguez.
If all three of them, or even just one of them can’t make it due to fitness or their lack of training, Gray would surely be the one to come in.
It is time to show it on the big stage.
