Kevin Campbell reacts to Moise Kean update on Everton future

We’re delighted to welcome former Everton striker Kevin Campbell as our exclusive columnist. Each week the former Toffees captain will be giving his views on the biggest talking points at Goodison Park…

Kevin Campbell has predicted an interesting couple of weeks for the Everton future of Moise Kean this month.

Tuttomercatoweb has reported on Tuesday that the Toffees have sanctioned his exit, with a loan-to-buy deal a real possibility.

Campbell insisted that if the money is right, then Kean should be sold, but if not, he can still prove himself at Goodison Park.

Speaking exclusively to Goodison News, Campbell said, “If the money is right, the key is the money.

“If the money is right then there is a deal to be done. If the money isn’t right, he’s proved that he can score goals, he is still young and that must have done his confidence the world of good.

“Let’s see how it goes, there is still a couple of weeks to go in the window so it could get interesting.”

Time to go.

Kean doesn’t really want to be at the club, and the club needs to sell players in order to complete their own business this month.

The one problem with any potential move would be doing so with a loan-to-buy, as it gives us nothing immediately to bring in a replacement.

Inter Milan and Fiorentina have been mentioned as potential destinations, and both could have money to play with, as they sell players this month.

Everton need to play hardball, as Campbell mentions, Kean could still be a great option to have if he can’t deliver us immediate funds.

With less than two weeks to go, this could get really interesting.
