PSG open talks with Richarlison’s entourage over summer move
Paris Saint-Germain have reportedly opened talks with the representatives of Richarlison over a possible summer exit from Everton.
According to French media outlet RMC Sport, ultra-rich PSG are stumbling over getting Kylian Mbappe to sign an extension at the Parc des Princes and have identified Richarlison as a Plan B in case the Frenchman leaves for Real Madrid or any other club.
The Toffees attacker is a friend of fellow Brazilian Neymar who is understood to have told the PSG hierarchy about him.
Hope he stays
The chance of joining a club like PSG does not arrive too often in the careers of players and if their interest is genuine then we could see Richarlison make a move for the French capital.
He’ll get a chance to play with arguably the greatest of all time in Lionel Messi and his close friend Neymar and that attack would look pretty terrifying with Richarlison being a part of it too.
That said, with less than a week left in the window, we do not see too much materialising on this front.
He appears to be happy at the club and all the reports point towards him being content with life at Goodison Park.
The 24-year-old’s started the season strongly too and we should be able to rely on his services for at least another year.
He’s one of our most important players and was singled out for special praise by Carlo Ancelotti after scoring against Crystal Palace two seasons ago.
Per Sports Mole, he said, “It was an outstanding counter-attack, he is a fantastic player, really young and really important for us. It was an outstanding goal.”
In case he does end up leaving next summer, at least we could demand a huge transfer fee for it.
