Jeff Stelling and Chris Kamara have offered contrasting Everton predictions ahead of their trip to Brighton on Saturday afternoon.
Everton head to the south coast unbeaten in two Premier League encounters thus far after an opening weekend win over Southampton preceded last week’s 2-2 draw against Leeds United at Elland Road.
Meanwhile, Brighton, managed by Graham Potter, sit fourth in the table after consecutive victories over Burnley and Watford.

Stelling backs Brighton to continue their 100% record with a 1-0 win while Kamara predicts the Blues to record their first Premier League away success of the 2021/22 campaign in a 2-1 victory.

The Brighton boss was one of many names linked with the vacant position at Goodison Park in the summer after Carlo Ancelotti re-joined Real Madrid.
Blues seemed divided over his possible arrival – some lauded his ability to transform Brighton into an attractive Premier League side while others pointed to his lack of silverware and his status as manager of a lowly team.
In the end, nothing was advanced and the Blues opted for Rafa Benitez.
The Spaniard and the Seagulls boss are pitted by many as being on the opposite end of the spectrum – the former as a pragmatic, conservative coach, while the other prefers more free-flowing football.
Saturday will be an interesting match-up between the pair, but it will also be a test for the Blues to see how they have improved from last season.
April’s fixture at Brighton saw a dull 0-0, with Everton roundly criticised for their lack of cutting edge. They recorded just one shot on target in that game.
After five goals in the first two league games of the season, the Blues will be confident that their fortunes have changed for the better.
