Everton confident of completing Luis Diaz this month – Fabrizio Romano
Everton are confident of completing the major signing of Porto winger Luis Diaz this month, according to Fabrizio Romano.
It is reported that the Colombian now wants the switch to Goodison Park as his priority in the next four days.
Talks are progressing over the permanent move, and James Rodriguez is looking to complete terms with Porto.

Writing on his personal Twitter account, Romano has shared the major update that leaves the Toffees confident of this deal being done.
“Everton are confident to complete the agreement with FC Porto to sign Luis Díaz,” he wrote. “Talks progressing on a permanent move – James Rodriguez expected to join Porto if salary agreement will be completed.
“Luis Díaz wants Everton as priority, now waiting for final agreement.”
Get it done.
There will be no one left complaining about this one should it get complete.
Rodriguez has made it very clear that he isn’t interested in continuing at Goodison Park, and getting his wages off the bill will be essential.
The Toffees will want players who are desperate to wear that shirt, and the Colombian will offer serious depth out wide and in the final third.
With Diaz reportedly wanting the move – should a deal get agreed, the personal terms should be a walk in the park.
Hopefully, this one can get over the line this weekend and Rafa Benitez can add to his attacking options before the August 31 deadline.
