Ainsley Maitland-Niles airs Everton transfer frustration on Instagram
Arsenal midfielder Ainsley Maitland-Niles has taken to Instagram to air his frustrations at being denied a move to Everton.
There have been widespread reports today [Monday, 30/08/21] that Everton have launched a loan-to-buy bid for the 24-year-old’s services.
However, Paul Joyce has claimed via his personal Twitter profile that Arsenal have rejected the Merseyside club’s advances and want him to stay at the Emirates Stadium.

Maitland-Niles, however, is seeking talks with Gunner boss Mikel Arteta as he wants to make the move to Everton.
He looks to have confirmed that notion via his personal Instagram story, as he wrote: “All I want to do is go where I’m wanted and where I’m going to play.”

Let him leave
Maitland-Niles has been a bit-part player at Arsenal for some time now, and he clearly wants to fulfil his potential elsewhere with his path blocked at the Gunners.
He was in and out of the side during the first half of the previous campaign before spending five months on loan at West Brom who were relegated from the Premier League.
The five-cap England international is yet to register a Premier League start this season, making his only league appearance as a substitute against Manchester City on the week.
He clearly wants out of the club, and the Blues are ready to grant him an Emirates exit.
But after Arsenal’s poor start to the season, it looks like they may be keen to keep him around.
This could rumble on right up until the Tuesday deadline.
