Everton reject latest PSG approach for Richarlison
PSG have made a late approach to Everton over the potential sale of Richarlison, according to Miguel Angel Toribio.
The Spanish journalist, speaking on Radio Marca’s ‘La Tribu’ programme [as relayed by their Twitter account], claims the French giants have explored a late move for the 24-year-old forward amid concerns over Kylian Mbappe’s future.
Radio Marca wrote: “Pending the ‘domino effect’, PSG have asked about [Erling] Haaland and Richarlison. [Borussia] Dortmund and Everton say no.
“With less than 48 hours remaining in the transfer market, Madrid are less optimistic than days ago.”
There have been persistent reports linking Richarlison with an Everton exit in recent days, with Sky Sport journalist Max Bielefeld claiming via his personal Twiter account last week that the Brazilian’s agent had jetted into Paris to discuss his client’s future.
However, Rafa Benitez [as relayed by Dominic King on his Twitter account] said he was 99.9 per cent certain Richarlison would stay at Goodison Park beyond the end of the summer transfer window, and he started Saturday’s 2-0 win over Brighton.

Too late
Convincing Everton to part ways with their South American star would have been a difficult task at the start of the summer, but making an effort to prise him away with less than 48 hours remaining of the transfer window is surely an impossible job.
Everton are sure to have a Richarlison replacement in mind at some point as it seems unlikely he will be there for years to come, but even if they have identified someone, signing them by the end of Tuesday would be extremely difficult.
As such, this seems like a non-starter in this window, but it may well be a deal that is revisited next year.
After his penalty theatrics at the weekend, perhaps the Blues will be happy to cash in the next time a big-money bid gets tabled.
In other Everton news, Blues bid for this international attacker is in danger of a late collapse after major complications in talks.
