Kevin Campbell has insisted that Everton can never have enough good, you players to choose from as they approach the deadline.
The Toffees have been linked with Sheffield United forward Daniel Jebbison this week, seeing a £5million tabled this month [The Star].
Campbell believes that having numerous options to come through will never be a bad thing for Rafa Benitez to have.
Speaking exclusively to Goodison News, Campbell said, “Everton have got some good players coming through, so it’s going to be an interesting one.
“You can never have enough quality, young players to throw in there just in case.”
Never have enough.
Benitez is certainly building for the future.
After years of managers bringing in experienced players that offer little to nothing, it is a pleasant surprise to have all of this young talent linked.
All has gone quiet on the Jebbison front, with rivals such as Southampton dropping out in recent days [Sky Sports].
Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Richarlison are easily the main two options for the Toffees in the final third but adding Jebbison and Solomon Rondon could represent smart business.
Time will tell, but it looks set to be a busy ending to the window at Goodison Park this month.
