Ainsley Maitland-Niles to request Everton move on Tuesday afternoon
Arsenal defender Ainsley Maitland-Niles is set to request a move to Everton on Tuesday afternoon.
David Ornstein has shared the update as the England international plots an exit from the Emirates Stadium.
Maitland-Niles is said to have been dumped from first-team training in London after his social media plea to leave yesterday.

Writing on The Athletic transfer tracker this morning, Ornstein shared the latest as the clock ticks down.
“Ainsley Maitland-Niles plans to meet with Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta at the club’s training ground on Tuesday afternoon to request to move to Everton,” he wrote.
“Arsenal entered into talks with Everton but the offer has not yet been accepted, with the club telling Maitland-Niles he would be staying in north London.
“Arsenal now need to decide whether to accept an offer for Maitland-Niles — or keep a player who has publicly said that he wishes to leave the club.”

Come and get me.
This is the biggest plea that could be made on deadline day.
Given that the meeting is said to be taking place this afternoon, this could be a potential move that goes down to the very wire.
Mikel Arteta can’t keep a player against his will, dump him from first-team training and stop a move from happening.
Maitland-Niles has made it very clear that he wants the move to Goodison Park, and that could be enough to force it over the line.
Expect many twists and turns between now and this evening, but this is one move that could explode into life at any moment.
