Everton could be set to search for a winger in January
Everton manager Rafael Benitez could use the January transfer window to target a move for a winger, according to Liverpool World.
They claim that because the Spaniard wanted another winger in the summer transfer window, he will likely look to sign another one in January.
Benitez significantly strengthened the Toffees out wide with the additions of Andros Townsend and Demarai Gray. Still, a move for Luis Diaz collapsed, and it appears as if Benitez will be trying to bring another winger in during the winter window.

Do Everton need another winger?
Well, Benitez clearly wanted Diaz from Porto, and the move might have happened if James Rodriguez had reduced his wage demands.
So, it is pretty clear where Benitez is thinking his squad is currently light, and ultimately, that is all that matters.
If the Spaniard thinks he needs a winger, then who is anyone to argue with him after the start to life he has made at Goodison.

The Toffees are unbeaten in all competitions, and Gray has had a superb start to life on Merseyside.
However, there wouldn’t be a big surprise if a further winger arrives to bolster Benitez’s options in January.
The summer window might just have closed, but you would expect that Benitez already has one eye on January because that is the type of manager he is.
