Everton attacker Richarlison trolls Argentina on Instagram after Brazil controversy

Everton attacker Richarlison has trolled Argentina on Instagram after they were forced from the field in Sunday night’s World Cup qualifier against Brazil.

Richarlison, 23, was not released for international duty this month after featuring at the Copa America and Olympic Games for his nation in the summer.

That ensured he missed Brazil’s crunch clash with Argentina in Sao Paulo last night, though the game lasted just eight minutes until Brazilian health officials forced the visitors from the pitch with four players deemed to be in violation of the country’s quarantine rules. Richarlison trolled their South American rivals on his personal Instagram profile, sharing a tweet that read “Health authorities 1 x 0 Argentina”.

At it again

It was only a few days ago Richarlison was trading online blows with Chile star Arturo Vidal.

That was after Brazil defeated their South American rivals, with the pair seemingly renewing old rivalries.

Yet Richarlison was at it again on Sunday night, despite Brazil not even completing their match with Argentina.

The Blues forward just can’t help himself but to wind up his South American rivals.

He was obviously desperate to be out there representing his country this month, but instead he’s had to adopt the role of cheerleader.

That’s something that will be of great benefit to the Blues with Richarlison surely well rested up now for next Monday’s clash against Burnley.

Luckily, Sean Dyche’s side does not contain any Argentina players that may want to wreak revenge on Richarlison for his online trolling.
