Campbell has insisted that the writing is on the wall for Tosun, and that it is time to move on and leave Everton behind him.

Speaking exclusively to Goodison News, Campbell said, “I think so.

“I think that the writing is on the wall for Cenk Tosun, he knows that but obviously, he’s going to keep doing his rehab, but it’s crazy.

“We’re only in September, but you really need to start thinking of January now because when the nights start getting dark, time starts flying.

“I do think it’s time for him to move on.”

Get rid.

Tosun has hardly featured in recent years at Goodison Park, and surely he knows that the time is coming to leave.

After loan spells with Crystal Palace and Besiktas, numerous managers have not found space for the experienced attacker.

Carlo Ancelotti hardly gave him a sniff, and even if he was fit, it is hard to imagine Rafa Benitez changing his mind.

Now that Salomon Rondon has arrived at the club, there is literally zero chance of Tosun forcing his way back into the side.

It is time to get rid of deadwood at the club, and it could start with Tosun.
