Seamus Coleman will be available for Everton on Monday
Seamus Coleman is likely to be available for Everton on Monday night against Burnley, according to Rafael Benitez.
In his pre-match press conference, the Spaniard confirmed that the Republic of Ireland international’s injury wasn’t too bad, and he should play against the Clarets [Everton’s website].
There had been fears that the 32-year-old wouldn’t be able to feature for the Toffees, but it appears as if that will not be the case [Liverpool Echo].

He said: “It was not very bad, to be fair. I think he will be available for Monday.”
Huge news for the Toffees.
Coleman has been Everton’s first-choice right-back for years and years, and it appears as if he will remain so until another right-back arrives.
However, he has started the season reasonably well for Benitez and given the lack of options to replace him; it is fantastic news for the Toffees that he can play against Burnley.

Coleman has a huge amount of Premier League experience and is pretty close to being an Everton legend.
However, it did appear unlikely that he would feature against the Clarets after he withdrew from international duty with his country.
Therefore, we are delighted to hear that he is fit and available to play for the Toffees on Monday.
