Kevin Campbell shares verdict on Everton attacking crisis
We’re delighted to welcome former Everton striker Kevin Campbell as our exclusive columnist. Each week the former Toffees captain will be giving his views on the biggest talking points at Goodison Park…
Kevin Campbell has insisted that Everton have a major problem with their injuries in the final third at Goodison Park.
Despite beating Norwich 2-0 on Saturday, there were clear problems with Richarlison and Dominic Calvert-Lewin missing.
Campbell believes that Salomon Rondon is still fighting for fitness after his deadline day switch to Merseyside, adding more problems for Rafa Benitez.

Speaking exclusively to Goodison News, Campbell said, “Richarlison has gone now.
“That’s a lot of your threat at the top of the pitch, Calvert-Lewin not there – aerial threat, goalscorer, he’s out.
“Then you get Richarlison, your maverick player who can do anything on a football pitch virtually, he’s out. Rondon struggling, he’s just not fit enough to make a difference.
“That’s what you’re going to have to rely on because there is no one else.”

Final third.
The big defeat at Aston Villa proved that there are problems right now.
Beating Norwich at home was simply essential, and the Toffees got across the line despite missing their two main talisman.
Rondon still struggled though, and hopefully, he can build his fitness so after the international break he can hit top gear if called upon.
While Calvert-Lewin and Richarlison are missing, there is only so much that Demarai Gray and Andros Townsend can do, and we are crossing our fingers for good news this week.
The international break is around the corner, and that should give us enough time to get back our injured players.
