Micah Richards blown away by Abdoulaye Doucoure for Everton v Norwich
Micah Richards was left singing the praises of Everton midfielder Abdoulaye Doucoure after the 2-0 win over Norwich.
The Frenchman scored the second at Goodison Park, following up a calm penalty from Andros Townsend to secure all three points.
Richards wasn’t just impressed with the gaol though, but the performance as he proved he was the complete package yet again.

Speaking on Match of the Day last night, Richards was blown away by his all-around game at Goodison Park.
“He has really developed,” he said.
“He’s breaking lines, he’s very comfortable. When a midfielder drives like this, it’s very difficult for anyone to get close to him because he’s got that power.
“He makes runs that are very difficult to pick up, he can zing it 20 yards, 30 yards, he’s got that in his locker.
“Look at him, he runs into that space and drags people out with him, little bit cheeky here – the finish is delightful.”

Unreal.
The one thing that always shocks us about Doucoure is how easy he makes every single action look when playing.
Whether he is making a 50-yard run into the box, gliding with the ball or putting in a big tackle, he never looks as though he is breaking a sweat.
That is the sign of a world-class player and alongside Allan that partnership is really becoming something special in this new system.
They have to rely on each other massively in midfield, and it is benefitting the entire team under Rafa Benitez this season.
Doucoure will be popping up with more goals and assists before the end of the season, and it will be no surprise to see him hit double figures in goal involvements with ease.
